The Inquiry’s Pacific investigation will examine issues that are particularly relevant to the experiences of abuse of Pacific people across all State and faith-based care settings included in the Terms of Reference, and will work alongside the Inquiry’s other investigations.

On 25 November 2020 the Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry released its decisions relating to applications made at the 20 November Procedural hearing.

The Inquiry will investigate the abuse of children, young persons and vulnerable adults in the care of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand, and its subsidiaries and affiliated entities and institutions (the Anglican Church).

This investigation will examine and report on abuse and neglect of children and young people in residences run by the State.
