The Inquiry is investigating the abuse of children, young persons and vulnerable adults in State care and in ​the care of faith-based institutions. ​The Inquiry has issued a Minute explaining our current interpretation of "in the care of faith-based institutions" in the Terms of Reference and outlining some of the considerations relevant to that interpretation. 

Interested parties can provide submissions on the Inquiry’s approach. Submissions should be in writing, should not exceed 10 pages, and should be submitted by 5pm on Monday 4 October  2021.
